MEKSIKA was born 21.3.1997 at the studfarm Akhalt-Service, Russia. She is very sensitive and soft mare with exceptional movement qualities. She is quite tall, her height in whithers is 162 cm. In her native studfarm Meksika had one foal born 2000, buckskin colt Merkurii (by 1195 Ekemen). Meksika is inbred IV x IV on stallion 682 Almaz, grandson of 100 El, founder of his line. Another inbreeding is IV x IV on stallion 828 Fakirpelvan, founder of his line.

Her pedigree is based on the combination of Toporbai and Fakirpelvan line.

Meksika´s sire is elite stallion 1069 Kortik (969 Rokot-1987 Korsika), bay, born 8.5.1984 at the studfarm Chagorta, Russia. Kortik was quite succesful at the racetrack (1600m – 1:49,2). He raced as 2-4 years old, participated in 14 starts. He won once, fourth times finished 2nd and three times third. He got Diploma of the III. Degree at the exhibition in Tbilisi in 1988 and won the evaluation of movement competition. He left in breeding elite sons 1227 Makat and 1744 Grand Kuli. Another of his sons, golden buckskin Mingam, is producing since 2004 in Czech Republic on the farm Achalteke Tukleky.

Kortik´s sire, stallion Rokot, contributed a lot to the preservation of Toporbai line. Most of today´s representatives are his descendants. Except above mentioned Kortik, Rokot sired e.g. elite black stallion Jazyr (out of 1880 Yalma) or golden bay Azhdar (out of 2092 Ada). Kortik´s dam, mare 1987 Korsika raced as 2 years old in 3 starts, once won and once placed third.

Meksika belongs by her sire to the one of the oldest, original Turkmen line, Toporbai.

Meksika´s dam is elite mare 2803 Marsia (1083 Omar-2003 Melegul), Fakirpelvan line. Two of her sons are used in breeding. Stallion 1227 Makat, full brother of Meksika, was producing in the native studfarm and now in the private stud in Hungary. Dark bay Metman is producing in USA.

Marsia´s sire, black stallion 1083 Omar, was succesfull racehorse. In 20 starts he won 12 times, in the years 1984 and 1985 he got Diploma of II. Degree at the championship. Omar´s sire is 910 Opal (828 Fakirpelvan-1310 Ovgan). This stallion is the record holder on the distance of 1.800 m (1:57,0). He raced 28 times, 15 times won, 8 times placed second and twice third.

In the third generation of dam´s side of Meksika´s pedigree we can find stallion 927 Fakel (682 Almaz-1381 Filfil). This bay stallion, born at the studfarm Tersk, raced in Ashkhabad and Piatigorsk. In 49 starts he won 24 times, 10 times finished second and 8 times third.

Meksika belongs to the family 351 Pel, which is one of the most considerable in Akhal Teke population. To this family belongs e.g. mare 1321 Pobeda, dam of the stallion Peren, founder of his line.
